American Fire Sprinkler Association: The AFSA is a non-profit, international association representing open shop fire sprinkler contractors, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems.

Georgia Fire Sprinkler Association: A non-profit organization whose main objectives are to:
PROMOTE: Develop an on-going relationship with state and local fire officials, building officials, authorities having jurisdiction, architects, and engineers. Promote the automatic fire sprinkler industry and develop new markets.
EDUCATE:
Promote educational projects for fire and building officials, architects, engineers, contractor members, and the general public. Perpetuate the quality of automatic sprinkler systems by keeping abreast of innovations, changes and new techniques.
LEGISLATE:
Participate in the establishment of local and state codes regarding the fire sprinkler industry. Promote legislation of fire protection bills.

Underwriter’s Laboratories Field Sample Testing of Automatic Sprinklers: UL tests sprinklers sampled from field installations as a service to inspection authorities, the sprinkler industry, the insurance industry and property owners. UL’s report on the results of this testing assists these parties in assessing the effectiveness of sprinkler systems, or the need for replacement of sprinklers currently in service.
